Nokia Configuration Tool v6.3 - Free Download

Nokia Configuration Tool is a PC application which you can use to manage the settings of Symbian phones through a USB cable or Bluetooth. It is primarily designedfor system administrators who configure phone profiles within an organization.
With it you can configure various settings like WLAN, email, Internet access points, and VPN on a single phone or several phones at the same time. Files, contact cards, and applications can also be transferred from the phone to the PC and vice versa.
New features in this beta release
This beta version (v6.3) brings several improvements over the commercial version (v6.2) that is currently available through nokia.com.

How to use
When the Nokia Configuration Tool is initialized for the first time, the tool prompts you to create a workspace.
A workspace is a directory that contains phone data files and configuration profiles. When you create a workspace, a folder with information about the phone and the profiles is created at a specified location. Connect PC and phone via anUSB cable or Bluetooth.
A Profile is a collection of settings such as WLAN, Email, Internet Access Point, and VPN that you define or specify for a particular phone. It is stored as an XML file in the workspace. You can create separate profiles for different purposes and phones. When you transfer a profile to a phone, the settings defined in the profile are configured on the phone.
*. Send profile : Select appropriate phone model. Enter the name to a profile, edit all the required settingsto be configured. Select "Send Profile". The Send Configuration Profile box displays the progress of the export process. Depending on thesuccess or failure of the operation, appropriate messages are displayed
*. Import profile : In the Import Configuration Profile dialog box, select the phone from which you wantto import the profile. The Import Configuration Profile box displays the progress of the import process. Depending on the success or failure of the operation, appropriate messages are displayed.
*. Edit Online : The Edit Online option allows you to edit the current profiles and settings on your phone by importing them to the PC. The edited information can be transferred back to the phone. Settings already present in the phonecannot be deleted through NCT. Theycan only be edited.
