PureMotion HD + is an improved version of screen ClearBack with better resolution than HD, refresh rate of 60 Hz, 15:9 ratio and improved visibility under sunlight. Pixel density of the screen is very high: 332 ppi and brightness up to 600 nits. 5 notable characteristics of HD PureMotion + include:

  • Automatic color adjustment to sunlight glare.
  • Extra Deep Blacks: The blacker, the better.
  • Better and denser pixels, consistent with the rate and screen size 4.5-inch screen.
  • High scanning speed makes screen blurred when scrolling page and pixel transition speed is 2.5 times faster than other phones.
  • Operation even when wearing gloves tape Super Sensitive Touch technology.
Super Sensitive Touch not completely designed by Nokia. Synaptics has applied this technology to the touch screen digitizer ClearPad Series 3. At MWC 2012 held in February, Synaptics has demonstrated the ability to touch the screen through a card but Lumia is definitely the first smartphone to exploit this idea. Nokia basically has increased the sensitivity of the sensors on the screen to optimize the touch experience, help screen automatically identify the appearance of the skin, wrapped in gloves or finger nails.

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core, 1.5 GHz;
  • RAM: 1 GB;
  • Internal memory: 32 GB (no memory card support);

Snapdragon S4 is their latest SoC chip from Qualcomm. Based on the time of issuance, processing speed and screen resolution, the ability Lumia 920 will use the model MSM8960 chip the Krait ARMv7 background structure of the Plus class and are produced on 28 nm lines. Of the chip is 1.5 GHz dual-core, 1 MB L2 Cache, integrated Adreno 225 GPU, supports up to Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a / b / g / n. Thereby, the Snapdragon S4 for faster speed, better multitasking, less energy consumption and optimized for mobile systems.

  • Mobile data connection: EDGE / EGPRS (2G) + WCDMA, HSDPA / HSUPA / HSPA + (3G) and LTE (4G);
  • Wireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n + Bluetooth 3.1 + NFC + Qi wireless charging;
  • Interface: microUSB 2.0 + 3.5 mm jack;
  • Standard SIM: microSIM;
  • Positioning: GPS + Glonass + magnetometer (digital compass);
  • Camera: Nokia PureView Carl Zeiss lens, BSI sensor, 8.7 MP, 2.0 aperture, 4x optical zoom, support AF + dual LED flash, 1080p video recording at 30 frames / second;
  • Camera: 1280 x 960 (HD)

PureView refers to all the advanced camera technology developed by Nokia, including the sensor with great sensitivity range of the light sensitivity in low light conditions and the optical image stabilization system. So PureView on Lumia 920 with parts than 808 PureView. However, the Lumia 920 is equipped with optical image stabilization system "floating lens" for sharper images in low light conditions.

  • Battery: 2000 mAh for time call scheduled 17h (2G) / 10 hours (3G); timeout 400h (2G) / Up to 400h (3G); continuous music in 67h, watch movies continuously for 6 h and video linkfurther 3 hours.
  • Supports Fatboy wireless charging standard Qi wireless power.

Qi is a unique communication standard developed by the Wireless Power Consortium for the wireless transmission of electrical energy between the maximum distance of 40 mm. Qi systems including 1 energy transfer plate and a compatible charger integrated on a mobile device. To use the system, mobile devices must be set up on a piece of energy transfer and charging via electromagnetic induction. Fatboy is one such system. It is the energy transfer and the user just put the Lumia 920 to charge.
