Nokia Store QML v3.18.036 Beta for Symbian^3 Anna Belle

The brand new Store client for Symbian^3 handsets comes with big changes You can feel the big UI revamp following the upcoming Symbian Belle interface, New Nokia (blue) logo and more.

We are offering members of the Nokia Beta Labs community a preview of the new Store client. Please help us in testing it before it is deployed in a software update.

This beta Store client will replace the current Store client on your Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna device, and it supports nearly all of the features as the official Store client (Web Runtime). The key new features this client brings include:

Quicker, smoother and more responsive than WRT client


Compatibility: Store QML client is available for the following devices: Nokia C6-01, C7-00, C7 Astound, E7-00, N8-00, X7-00


Notes: 
- The beta Store is about 18.7 MB in size.
- Client may take a while to install.


Known issues/additional information


For the PS1 users (device software version 01x.xxx, dial *#0000# to verify software version), after the installation of this client, the new store icon wont be displayed in the App grid until the device is rebooted. That is a firmware issue in PS1.
The existing Java apps and widgets apps will work if you launch them from the phone App menu. But to launch the Java apps and widgets from the Store client, users will be required to download and install again. Thats because the unique IDs are not provided by the Backend for those two type of contents, causing the gap between the WRT and this QML client.
Nokia E6-00 is not supported yet. User experience and resolution are still being optimized.

+ Solved: Purchase option for Symbian Belle users
+ Theme Pack (Gift Package) feature is available for Nokia C7 users
- This feature will offer a collection of premium applications at no costs to the selected users for a period of time, e.g. 30 days
- In the Store application, the users will see the Theme Pack banner on the home view. Upon clicking on the banner, they will be linked to the Theme Pack collection.
