Nokia 3D World Gaze - Nokia N9, N950 - MeeGo Harmattan 1.2 - Free App Download

Nokia 3D World Gaze gives you a new kind of viewpoint to the world, allowing you to see through the surface (and insides) of the planet all the way to the other side. Just point your phone to some direction and you will see reality in a way you have never seen before. In addition to geographical features such as continents in their real physical locations, Nokia 3D World Gaze allows you to see geo-tagged media, day and night regions, current location of the Sun, and other content from locations around the world.


Beside all the features of the Symbian version, The Nokia N9 client have few extra ones: you can now look for cities in Wikitravel.org and easily pinpoint the exact opposite side of the Earth. These features will soon be available in the Symbian version with the next update release.

This beta software is still under development, may have bugs, and is published for testing and feedback purposes.


Please note when installing:
The easiest way to install this app is to first browse to this page with the web browser on your Nokia N9
The .deb package is provided direct from Nokia Beta Labs, so before installing you must go to Settings → Applications → Installations and enable the option "Allow installations from non-Store sources".
When installing, you will be asked to verify whether you wish to install software from an uncertified source. Select "I agree".
When the application is running it downloads data in the background. You should expect approximately 1-3 MBs of data transferred per 10 minutes of use. You can see the amount of data downloaded with Menu → About World Gaze.
