Nokia Announces the C2-02, C2-03 and C2-06

As Nokia shifted their smartphone OS to Windows Phone all the attention has been placed there by the media and "the next billion" phone push was all but forgotten about.

However Nokia is still doing selling 40 series phones like hotcakes, and they just announced three more phones (C2-02, C2-03 and C2-06) to help reach the next billion. All of these phones include a 2 megapixel camera, media player, FM radio and up to 32GB of expandable memory via microSD. Despite the low cost of these phones they still pack a lot of nice features, these phones are internet-enabled, and support touch and type interactions. The phones remember profiles of up to five SIM cards, which can be personalized as per the user's preference. A new Easy Swap feature allows users to change their SIM cards without switching off the mobile phone.

The C2-02 is a single sim phone and the C2-03 and C2-06 are dual sim phones. The cost of these phones are expected to range from about $95.00 USD to $115.00 USD and are aimed at emerging markets like India.
