Nokia N9 Arrives, What Color Did You Picked?

Just few days back we heard the news that Nokia already shipped they’re first MeeGo device, N9, to different parts of the world. You can check the official post here.


And now, for others who already ordered a N9 and for those who will be ordering soon, what color of N9 did caught your attention? What did you picked?

Nokia N9 variants are 16GB & 64GB with three attractive colors to choose from, the Cyan (blue), Magenta (pink) & the Black. Sadly, N9 64GB is only available in Black, based on stories from my friends in the blogosphere. But at least there will be a case accessories for your N9.


Meanwhile, if I will have the chance to get a Nokia N9, I will surely go for the Cyan one…and maybe add a White Nokia N9 case too. How about you?

Nokia N9 Is Now Shipping To Stores, Will You Buy One?

Finally the MeeGo device of Nokia, the N9 is now on its way heading to the nearest stores in your place, as it was announced on NokConv.

Nokia N9 features the most unique design and packed with heavy hardware and software kicks. To start with the design, it has curved multi-touchscreen covered with Gorilla Glass proofing for scratches protection. Its uni-body design is made of top poly-carbonate material that are available in three different colors of Cyan, Magenta and Black.


N9 is running on 1GHz cpu and with 512MB RAM, and with choices of 16GB or 64GB for storage. While the software that N9 runs with is the latest Intel and Nokia platform product, the MeeGo. And top on that, the new SWIPE UI is being used in order to simply and leverage your thirst for fluid and elegant interface experience.

Nokia Betalabs team has just released a early beta preview v3.16(30) of new app Store client for Symbian^3 devices for testing. The new Store client is based on Qt QML and features Belle like navigation bottom bar.
The brand new Store client for Symbian^3 handsets comes with big changes – You can feel the big UI revamp following the upcoming Symbian Belle interface, New Nokia (blue) logo and more.

“We are offering members of the Nokia Beta Labs community a preview of the new Store client. Please help us in testing it before it is deployed in a software update.”

This beta Store client will replace the current Store client on your Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna device, and it supports nearly all of the features as the official Store client (Web Runtime). The key new features this client brings include:


Easier navigation
Improved product details view, for a rich and fluid discovery experience
Quicker, smoother and more responsive than WRT client


Compatibility: Store QML client is available for the following devices: Nokia C6-01, C7-00, C7 Astound, E7-00, N8-00, X7-00


Notes: 
- The beta Store is about 18.7 MB in size.
- Client may take a while to install.


Known issues/additional information


For the PS1 users (device software version 01x.xxx, dial *#0000# to verify software version), after the installation of this client, the new store icon won’t be displayed in the App grid until the device is rebooted. That is a firmware issue in PS1.
The existing Java apps and widgets apps will work if you launch them from the phone App menu. But to launch the Java apps and widgets from the Store client, users will be required to download and install again. That’s because the unique IDs are not provided by the Backend for those two type of contents, causing the gap between the WRT and this QML client.
Nokia E6-00 is not supported yet. User experience and resolution are still being optimized.


Hint:If Nokia Store does not load after installation simply install it again without uninstalling not working version.
